Premiere Boulder Musical Ensemble Wraps up Inaugural Season

Boulder, Colo.-- It’s been a year of amazing firsts for Boulder’s premiere chamber music ensemble, Boulder Chamber Orchestra (BCO). With three nearly sold-out concerts on record, the new arts organization plans to celebrate and wrap-up their successful inaugural season on May 6th, with an appropriately named event, “Seasons Finale,” featuring Vivaldi’s Four Seasons.
Indulge your senses as BCO brings new life to this well-loved classical composition that explores the seasons through imaginative melodies. “No matter how many times you’ve heard Four Seasons, seeing it live is like hearing it for the first time,” says BCO conductor and Music Director Bahman Saless. Local favorite, Gregory Walker will join the ensemble as their guest violin soloist.
To compliment the masterpiece, the orchestra will also be performing selections from Tchaikovsky’s famous suite, The Seasons.
As always, the event includes a complimentary reception, with goodies provided by local merchants such as Izze Beverage Company and others. BCO’s community-friendly atmosphere (and pricing) sets the orchestra apart from other classical groups in the area, and makes an evening of music as appealing as a spring day in Boulder.
